Cyclorama (Large circular Civil War Painting, boring), Stone Mountain (Massive hunk of granite east of Atlanta with a large carving of Confederate generals on the side, easy to hike to the top), Georgia Aquarium (Big room with lots of fishes) -Atlanta is a metro area that is very difficult to navigate without a car

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is nice (be sure to check out the mini rainforest in the Fuqua Conservatory) and if you're with kids, the Children's Garden is cute Fat Matt's Rib Shack is still an awesome place to visit and eat Decatur is a great place to walk around, and there are many good restaurants a block or two away from the square downtown
