lots and lots of threads on tint, and opinions on tint out there that i have looked through most of them are fairly dated, but all seem to have the same type of feedback some believed tint was a really bad non-Ferrari thing to do ["if it needed tint, it would have had it from the factory "] others believed it was not a big deal i'm not sure

ok so I just removed the side and centre panes and took the glass out, 15 minute job out and 15min in window now tinted correctly steps as follows: remove the cover with the speaker in, one bolt under the runner trim on the door sill, just listen the screw no need to remove and push back and tilt and clip out

The first few places I took mine flat out refused to tint the rear window, saying they couldn't get all the way back into the corners of it I finally found a place to do it, but they had to remove the window in order to tint it on the bench, then re-install it on the car As you can imagine, this cost more than the average tint job

There is no visible difference between the side windows and the windshield with regard to darkness etc unless it is 95-100% tint film Could be some anti-glare, or it could be the glass is scratched This is a factory logo windshield There doesn't seem to be any tint or film of any kind on any of the other windows

I LIKE people asking questions of any nature as long as they are within the realm of the category This is a 458 section He has a 458 I like opinions from sources other than myself Who knows, maybe tinting hurts resale value Maybe tinting protects the interior Maybe tinting is difficult due to the complex curve of the window

I had back door window tint replaced on both sides, $400 for 4x new wheel center caps new battery, changed engine oil and filter, new coolant, drivers seat belt stalk to clear an airbag code, headlight polish, new bonnet struts, new boot struts, new glovebox clips and I fit a spare wheel in the back for them which I buy for $50 from the wreckers

55% Window Tint; Ti Lug Bolts; Carbon Fiber Center Caps; Lowered 10mm; 11 and 17mm spacers; Rosso TRS is basically like a 4-layer pearlescent mica "Rosso Corsa" I wanted a bright red that could really show off the lines of the F8 and wouldn't have orange hues It has quite a bit of depth in the sun and tends to look more like wet paint

Ceramic window tint (almost clear with out any darkness, I forget the percentage) Fire extinguisher with custom bracket; PPF on whole front and leading edges; Gyeon Ceramic coating; Everything else was simply restoration work like sticky buttons and stuff like that

Since I used 90% tint the heat reduction is only 34% versus 50%? if I chose 70% tint If this is the case I don't think I'll tint the windshields of my other cars (including the F430) TTR F1 Veteran
