2017 - 2022 Super Duty - Oil life % calculation - Brand new F250 6 7 diesel with only 304 miles on it and it says I have 18% oil life left?? Door sticker has a build date of 8 2018, I bought it on 8 2019 (8 24 19) with 72 miles on the odometer How is the oil life calculated? Ford say's Oil change service intervals

It only drops for time, it doesn t take into consideration heavy load, it s only a time (by date), and engine hrs calculator My truck can sit for a month or so and loose more oil life %, then if I solo drove it 1,000 miles in 3-4 days When it should loose 10% per thousand miles
