- DMV website is telling me title number does not exist when I try to . . .
I had my car inspected Friday and had the same problem - when the mechanic sent the information in, the computer said the car wasn't in the system When I called the DMV, the support person told me that they had been having problems with the computers and that the program would "catch up" once the problems were resolved
- Drivers license requirement re: middle name (lease, credit, DMV . . .
And you are wrong Everyone who gets a new DL in NC needs official, specific documentation that shows their COMPLETE middle name Or lack of middle name at birth (like my husband) What DMV ORG required twenty years ago is irrelevant If that out of state DL includes your full middle name, that's acceptable
- NJ DMV no longer accepting birth certificates prior to 1965 (Jersey . . .
I just went to my DMV office to renew my drivers license and was told as of May 1, 2012 my NY birth certificate will not be accepted anymore! I have to get a 'certified' birth certificate since mine was created prior to 1965 I have the original one and I am just rolling my eyes as to how it's not valid anymore
- DMV - Are we now required to have an eye exam by and eye doctor to . . .
I could not pass the DMV vision test without glasses Then after a few years I realized I could see drive better without the glasses, but kept them handy in case I was ever pulled over When I went to renew I saw an eye doctor first, so I could get new glasses and pass the DMV test, but the eye doctor said my eyes were easily good enough to
- Real ID goes into effect May 7th and only 17% of people in NJ have one . . .
My wife got hers last month - Hoboken brought in a 'Real ID Truck' where you could make appointments through the city and was a mobile DMV that they parked in a few areas of town Thought that was a great idea I do agree they should have just forced prior renewals to be Real ID, but people need to take on some personal responsibility on this one
- NYS Labor not answering at call center for Unemployment Benefits . . .
I’ll admit one thing, the DMV had an option to get a call-back instead of waiting on the hold for 1 5-2 hours In my last year of living in NY I had to deal with state offices and such for numerous things and it was frustrating to say the least Also, many of the people on the other end of the phone are nasty and miserable
- Expired registration. . . Do I need a temp tag to get car inspected? (DMV . . .
To be completely safe, you should go to DMV first and obtain a temporary registration You can skip that and have the car inspected and then go to DMV to renew the tag, as long as you don't get pulled over on the way If it were me, I'd take the chance and have it inspected first The odds of being pulled over for an expired plate is remote
- Does your state include height weight on your license? (DMV, law . . .
There's a tape measure stuck to a pole somewhere in the DMV, but the guy at the counter told me to just guess rather than measure myself 08-22-2012, 06:58 PM Tezcatlipoca
