Just took possession of new house in Dallas Tx, I had a lock Smith re-key all the doors all mechanical locks amp; dead bolts i asked about his experience with the Schlage locks in the Dallas area To my surprise he had just left a house with Schlage locks that had been hacked and entered He shared his job was to disabled

I am really close to having this work, but when I issue a lock command the lock doesn't lock I get the correct status, I can enter new user codes, and I get battery status I am running HS2 3 0 112 and have WDUSB-10 with Smartstick scklage update What am I missing?

First is to manage my door locks I have the Schlage BE469ZP locks with Firmware Version 0 10 9 My HomeSeer is a HS4 Pi Hub G3 Version 4 2 16 0 To install the lock on the HS I do Devices -> Add New Device -> Z Wave I press the inclusion button on the lock When prompted, I enter the 5 digit DSK code for the lock

#2 August 21, 2009, 08:54 AM Schlage locks with steel doors I still having problem with Schlage Zwave lock on a steel door I using two Schlage lamp module to get the Schlage Zwave entry lock to work, but still cannot change lock codes I have to move around the two Schlage lamp module until the Schlage Zwave entry lock communicate with homeseer

In my experience, Schlage locks (at least the BE469NX) are really bad at reporting battery levels Even if they say the battery is fine, and even if they respond to a poll, replace the batteries before you devote time to troubleshooting
