- Buildium vs AppFolio for Larger PortfolioBuildium vs AppFolio for . . .
I have seen multiple people post to go with AppFolio for a larger portfolio over Buildium, specifically have seen people say to go with it if your portfolio is 150 units+ I currently own and manage 300 units (made up of a few larger apartment complexes) and want software that will work well if I were to double or triple to 600-1,000 units
- AppFolio integration with QB or XeroAppFolio . . . - BiggerPockets
Is anyone integrating AppFolio with QB or Xero (without re-keying everything)? My 3rd party property manager uses AppFolio I converted an AppFolio PDF to CSV and imported it into Xero Anyone using other automated solutions?
- Appfolio Experience as Property Owner?Appfolio . . . - BiggerPockets
I'm now hiring a PM who uses Appfolio for my portfolio, and my family's portfolio There are about 60 units total between the two portfolios It looks like Appfolio doesn't have a way for owners to see ledgers in real time - instead owners can only see reports that are generated at specific moments in time
- Anyone use APPFOLIO?Anyone use APPFOLIO? - BiggerPockets
I have used Appfolio since 2009 and have about 1000 units on there plus Appfolio Plus The only downside is that it does have a little bit of a learning curve and they have a certain number of units you must have (not sure what that number is now)-maybe 100?
- Appfolio use for Property Management AccountingAppfolio use for . . .
It seems that Appfolio doesn't know how to deal with the complexity Anyone with this type of experience? We're thinking of leaving the property mng part in appfolio, and going with Quickbooks online for all the rest of the accounting Would LOVE to hear your thoughts Thanks in advance, Racheli
- Rent Manager versus Appfolio versus Buildium - BiggerPockets
I haven't personally used Appfolio, but I had a local PM demo his platform for me at a conference and it looked really slick - definitely more powerful feature rich than Buildium I think Appfolio is the go-to choice if you're managing more than 150 units I personally use Buildium for my small self managed portfolio and like it over all
- Managing multiple portfolios with AppfolioManaging multiple portfolios . . .
Does anyone have experience managing multiple portfolios with Appfolio? I’d like to setup a sub-portfolio with the complex’s own branding, phone number, etc that is different from our parent company’s brand I am also curious if there are two (or more) separate portfolios how the backend stuff works
- Appfolio cash flow report -- gt; Quickbooks accountingAppfolio cash flow . . .
Every month I spend 2-3 hours translating the Appfolio cash flow report I get from my PM into double-ledger accounting for Quickbooks First I do the Appfolio translation in a spreadsheet until I get everything to balance, then I manually enter into Quickbooks Is there an Appfolio Quickbooks integration that makes this process streamlined
- I believe that Appfolio is costing owners thousands of . . . - BiggerPockets
They have documentation and Appfolio says it was a failed dispute I worked in payments for 12 years including when I got started in real estate (and was on the bp podcast) If Appfolio is actually not disputing these charges with appropriate documentation and telling property managers they are doing so it's costing owners 1000s of dollars
- Appfolio Should Connect to your account and NOT Property . . .
A lot of property managers around me use software like Buildium, Appfolio, Tenant Cloud, etc To manage the properties But, sense they're using the same account to manage as me, I can go into my Appfolio account, which is the software many PM use, and see what's going on
